[Joe Pekala]

Joe PekalaJoe is the Managing Partner of J. Pekala & Associates, Inc. Having assisted his father during summer vacations as a teenager, Joe started his insurance career in his early 20's. Since 1989, Joe's primary focus has been developing insurance programs for religious and non-profit organizations. In addition to working with individual organizations, Joe is the agency's primary agent on all group accounts. He has successfully developed regional and national group programs for various denominations.

Career Awards: Throughout his career, Joe has been recognized by the nation's leading insurers of churches and non-profit organizations and received the following: From GuideOne Insurance Joe was the 2008 East Region Commercial Top Star in addition to receiving their Superstar Award, and 4 All-Star Awards. In 2015 Joe earned a spot in President's Circle for his sales and service!

When not servicing his customers' insurance needs and running the day-to-day operations of JPA, Joe enjoys time with his wife and three lovely daughters. Joe is active in his own church and heads up his churches Hospitality Ministry. Joe enjoys going to football and baseball games. For years Joe has been a coach of his daughter's softball team in which JPA is a sponsor.

[Stan Pekala]

Stan PekalaStan has specialized in insuring religious and non-profit institutions since 1979. In addition to working with churches and non-profits Stan is the primary agent for ISP (Insurance Service's Plus) which is a separate cooperation originally set up by JPA to provide insurance to for-profit organization’s as needed.

When he is not working Stan enjoys his time with his wife Joyce and their grandchildren. He has various hobbies and has recently started playing in a local golf league and riding his new motorcycle.

[George Stemple]

George StempleGeorge has specialized in insuring religious and non-profit institutions since 1980. In addition to insuring churches has extensive experience in a varitiy of insurance markets including personal lines.

George likes to go on cruises with his lovely wife Linda and spending time with his grandchildren. Recently George and his wife Linda purchased a place in Florida where they spend the winter months. While down there he handles JPA business when needed and returns to the Kentucky-Ohio area to services customers and spend a lot of quality time their kids and grandchildren.

[Shannon Pekala]

Shannon PekalaShannon is a Partner of J. Pekala & Associates, Inc. She is responsible for overseeing the accounting, budget, tax, audit, and IT activities of the company. Shannon has a B.S. in Finance and an M.B.A. with a specialization in Accounting. Prior to joining our agency, Shannon spent 8 years as a Computer and Business Consultant with Deloitte & Touche, LLP and Business Systems Consultants, Inc. Outside of JPA, Shannon does consulting work.

Work aside, Shannon spends most of her off hours with family and friends. Most of all, she enjoys the time she spends with her three daughters. Shannon is often busy helping out and volunteering in many school events and activities involving her daughters.

[Jenel Kosluk]

Jenel FulmerWith an Associates Degree in Computer Applications Management, Jenel joined our agency in 2005 as our Administrative Assistant. In 2015 she was promoted to Office Manager. Jenel is now responsible for the over all operation of the office and staff. Her responsibilities include (but not limited to) directing and when needed assisting other office employees in their responsibility, customer service, renewals, supplying certificates of insurance, processing claims, dealing with the agency's and agents licenses among other internal and external parts of the agency's operation.

Jenel is involved with and sits on the board of "Peggy's Place" (a part of City Light Ministry's in Reading, PA) which is a ministry honoring the memory of her mother. She also has a passion for animals and has volunteered in non-profit animal rescue shelters and has adopted animals as well. She enjoys a good cup of coffee, traveling, spending time with her family and friends. In general, Jenel enjoys what life has to offer. If you want to get on her good side, send coffee!

[Tiffiany Potichko]

tiffiany potichkoTiffiany joined the JPA team in 2017. Tiffiany comes to JPA with over seven years of customer service as well secretaril work. She joined JPA after working as a Legal Secretary and an Administractive Assident for a law firm in Doylestown, PA. At JPA Tiffiany serves as the agency's Office Clerk. Amoung her many resposibility's as Office Clerk at JPA, Tiffiany also asssists JPA's Office Administrator as well as the Administrator of Finance and Group Billing from time to time.

When not working at JPA, Tiffiany enjoys spending time with her daughter. She also enjoys cooking and spending time with family and freinds.

[Cristen Koleda]

Cristen KoledaCristen joined the JPA family in November 2016 as billing manager. Cristen has a BA in accounting from Lycoming College as well as over 10 years of accounting experience. Previously to joining JPA, Cristen was employed as a senior accountant with Comcast and worked in public accounting as an auditor.

As billing manager, some of Cristen’s responsibilities include processing regional and national “group” customer renewals and assisting in the service of our group clients. Cristen handles invoicing premiums to group members and processes all financial transactions for customers as well as our agency.

Outside of work, Cristen enjoys spending time with her husband and son. Even though running after a toddler keeps her plenty busy, she also enjoys being with extended family and friends, volunteering, relaxing by the water, and rooting for the Giants.

[Erin Rodgers]

Erin RodgersUntil 2015, Erin was JPA’s Office Manager. Her value to JPA in its infancy can not be overstated. Prior to joining our agency she spent 15 years in various positions at a large pharmaceutical company and 3 years as office manager for a produce wholesale business. Along with Joe, Erin helped develop internal office procedures in order to provide the quality of service JPA customers have come to know and appreciate to this day.

She remains part of the JPA team and will be called upon to assist and guide in special projects when needed. Until then, she is enjoying the time with her husband and children and was as her extended family and friends.
